Kandice Rowe

Dr. Kandice Rowe serves as the Lead Advisor and Director of the Student Center of Professional Education Services in the College of Education and Professional Development at Marshall University. With a distinguished career spanning nearly 24 years at Marshall, Dr. Rowe brings over two decades of expertise in academic advising to her role. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with the NACADA Region 3 Excellence in Advising Award in 2019. Dr. Rowe's research interests are reflected in her dissertation, which examined advisor perceptions of technology in academic advising within West Virginia Educator Preparation Programs. Her commitment to the advancement of academic advising practices is matched by her deep connection to Marshall University—where she has earned her Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees. Dr. Rowe's dedication to education and advising is evident in her impactful career and her personal investment in the Marshall community.
