Kayla Poling

Kayla Poling serves as Senior Academic Advisor for Professional and Undergraduate Programs in the West Virginia University School of Medicine and is the outgoing chair of the WVU Academic Advising Council. Kayla graduated from West Virginia University with both her Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s of Public Administration. She began working at WVU in July 2011 and joined the School of Medicine in July 2021, working primarily with students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program and with transfer students. Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, concerts, and watching sports. She is also an avid quilter and enjoys making quilts and shopping for new fabrics.
