Michelle Poland

Michelle Poland is the Director of Advising for the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources within West Virginia University.  In addition to leading a team of 10 professional advisers, Michelle also advises approximately 250 undergraduate engineering students.  She serves on several college and University level committees.  She has won several college, University and regional awards and was recently recognized as a NACADA Region 3 Excellence in Advising - Advising Administrator Certificate of Merit recipient (2023).
