Rebekah Dunaway

Bekah is a BSW Recruitment and Advising Coordinator and Clinical Instructor at West Virginia University, and a DSW student at Tulane University. With a background in nonprofit organizations, school systems, and youth development programs, she brings a wealth of experience working with youth, families, and communities. Bekah’s teaching and advising philosophies uses student-centered approaches and incorporates aspects of experiential learning, advocacy, social justice, and diversity.

In her role, Bekah works with undergraduate social work students as their academic advisor, and their instructor for several BSW courses. Bekah aims to help every student develop and hone their skills and passions to fulfill their goals. Bekah is dedicated to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all, and to help students find a supportive community.
