Lacie Bittinger

Lacie Bittinger is the Director of Student Services (focusing on undergraduate students) for the College of Business at Marshall University. Lacie was placed as a graduate assistant in the College of Business advising office and it was there that she discovered her passion for academic advising and working with students. As a three-time alumna of Marshall University, Lacie has a deep connection to Marshall and has been working in advising for 15 years. Throughout her time, she has developed a student-centered, holistic, and proactive advising approach. Throughout her career, Lacie has presented at a NACADA regional conference, presented on-campus, become certified in Appreciative Advising, and participated in the John Marshall Leadership Fellows Program. Lacie is also dedicated to representing the interests of staff at the institution and currently serves as the Chair of Marshall’s Classified Staff Council and serves on the Shared Governance Committee.
