Mountains of Support: Guiding Students in their Climb to Success

September 17, 2025 | Free Virtual Conference

Over 100 advising professionals across West Virginia attended the third annual West Virginia State Advising Conference.

The free virtual conference provided academic advisers with a space to discuss current topics in advising, share innovative ways to support students and more.

This year, the inaugural West Virginia Award for Excellence in Academic Advising Award was presented to a full-time academic adviser who demonstrates excellence in advising, a commitment to advisees at the undergraduate level and who has a significant impact on their advisees.
