As part of academic transformation, the foreign language requirement for Eberly Bachelor of Arts degrees has been removed. During the Fall 2023 semester, the Registrar updated DegreeWorks so the requirement no longer populates in the degree audit.
Eberly’s Undergraduate Studies office reached out to all students individually who were impacted by this change to provide guidance. Language credits may still be applied in various areas, such as GEF, elective credits and minor requirements. Students may still pursue language learning at WVU.
