This summer, WVU is launching a new opportunity for students to gain real-world, hands-on experience working with companies from around the world.
The new WVU Global Career Accelerator, offered in partnership with Podium Education, offers for-credit online programs that equip undergraduate students with in-demand job skills and access to jobs and internships at more than 100 leading organizations across 20+ industries. Enrollment for the Summer 2024 session of the WVU Global Career Accelerator is open now.
This innovative online global experiential program provides students with the opportunity to acquire global competencies and valuable work experience in an accessible and flexible format. Participants will engage in collaborative projects alongside peers from around the world, working on assignments from prestigious companies, such as SpaceX, Intel and the Grammys.
Students can choose from four tracks – including Digital Marketing, Coding for Web, Data Analytics and Coding for Data – and earn three course credits (ARSC 491) and up to three microcredentials focused on specific industry skills and tools. Summer programs begin May 20 and run through July 28. Fall programs are also available.
