All registered undergraduate students on the Morgantown, Potomac State and WVU Tech campuses will receive an important request to fill out a survey on academic advising.
Students will receive an initial notification in their MIX account with the subject line, “Student Evaluation of Advising (eSEA)” on March 8, just before Spring Break. They will have three weeks to complete the survey before the portal will close on March 29.
WVU conducts this survey every spring to gauge student satisfaction with academic advising, including availability of advisers, professionalism, and helpfulness of their academic adviser.
The results are made available to schools, colleges, departments and other academic units to improve students’ advising experiences and make decisions about adviser professional development.
Participation is important, so please encourage your student to fill out the survey once they receive it in their MIX email.
If they have not completed the survey, students will receive email nudges to do so.
