Students who have attempted certain courses twice and not received a passing grade must appeal to have a third attempt at the course.

All students who have taken a course three times and have not received a passing grade must appeal to take the course a fourth time.
This semester, course attempt appeals will open to coincide with availability of midterm grades. Statistically, most students do not pass a course on the third attempt. Advisers are encouraged to work with their unit to determine appropriate success support as part of the condition of approval.
Course attempt appeals for summer and fall 2025 will close Friday, August 15 at 5 p.m.
