Advisers Strongly Encouraged to Participate in Presidential Search Listening Sessions

|

As plans move forward to search for a new present, the presidential search committee is inviting the WVU community to participate in campus listening sessions hosted by the WittKieffer team on September 9-13.

These sessions are designed to gather information to use in creating a leadership profile that will be used to recruit candidates in the national market to the role.

Joy Carr, Director of University Advising, strongly encourages advisers to attend one of these sessions.

“In our current academic landscape, student success initiatives are nationally recognized as critical to a university’s success,” Carr stated. “Advisers are extremely well placed to know a great deal about the challenges and opportunities facing an incoming president, as well as the skills and qualities a person will need to succeed in the student success realm. It's important that advisers' voices and perspectives are heard in these discussions.”

A complete schedule for the listening sessions is available at presidentialsearch.wvu.edu.

Advisers are also encouraged to fill out the online survey available at presidentialsearch.wvu.edu.
