Academic and Advising Updates

This summer, WVU is launching a new opportunity for students to gain real-world, hands-on experience working with companies from around the world. 

Advisers have long relied on a variety of Multidisciplinary programs to help students achieve degree completion or find their best fit academically at WVU.  

Academic advisers are invited to join on one of the following dates to learn about Occupational Therapy career paths, educational opportunities and classroom facilities: 

Advisers are invited to participate in a research project at WVU investigating relationships between students’ course schedules and academic outcomes.

In addition to the award winners, this year WVU recognized several faculty and primary role advisers with a Meritorious Recognition, signifying the quality of their application materials and highlighting the competitive field for this year’s awards.

WVU Advisers from Morgantown and Keyser participated in the NACADA Region 3 conference entitled “Just Around the Bend: Steering Your Students Toward Success” held in Greenville, SC from April 15-17.  

Academic advising is critical to student success and it's time to celebrate all the hard work we’ve done this year. 

Advisers are invited to attend the Adviser Health Sciences Center Open House on April 29 from 12-2 p.m. in HSC North Room 1909.
